Overview
A Delhi to Chopta & Tungnath tour is a fantastic escape into the Himalayan beauty of Uttarakhand. It typically starts with a road journey from Delhi to the scenic town of Chopta, known as the "Mini Switzerland" of India, nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. From there, trekkers can explore lush meadows, dense forests, and breathtaking mountain vistas. The highlight is Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, which involves a rewarding trek through pristine nature. The trip offers a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, and stunning landscapes, all wrapped up with the comfort of returning to Delhi at the end of the journey.
Itinerary
Day 00 - Chopta Departure
- Departure in the evening to Chopta.
- The group will assemble at the pickup point.
- Afterwards, You'll be introduced to the team captains and the whole group.
- Halt for dinner in between (not on us).
Day 01 - CHOPTA
- Reach Chopta, Swiss camp, check in.
- Freshen up & rest for some time.
- Enjoy the views in the lap of nature.
- Followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 02 - TUNGNATH & CHANDRSHILA
- Wake up early & witness the beautiful sunrise. Start your day early today.
- Have breakfast and leave for Tungnath.
- Start your trek to Tungnath (the World’s highest Shiva temple). Reach Tungnath & pay your respect at the highest abode of Lord Shiva.
- Start your journey to Chandrashila Peak (if weather permits).
- Come back by the evening, Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 - DEORIA TAL TREK & DEPARTURE
- Wake up and have your breakfast.
- Check-out and leave for Sari Village(Basepoint for Deoria Tal trek)
- Reach Deoria Tal and enjoy the picturesque views.
- Trek back to Sari Village.
- Departure from Deoria Tal in the evening.
